The Aspen Spinous Process System is a posterior, non-pedicle fixation device for placement in the lumbo-sacral spine (L1-S1). It is designed for plate attachment to spinous processes to achieve supplemental fusion in patients who suffer from degenerative disc disease and/or spondylolisthesis.
The Aspen System is used with bone graft material and is not intended as a stand-alone device.
